Holiday Miniatures! |
November 2007 |
|
Dear Miniature Enthusiast,
The holidays are approaching! We know that's not
exactly a newsflash, but we just get so excited about
the holidays that we had to say it. We all know the
best thing about minis during the holidays is a box
with the Greenleaf label under the tree, but the next
best thing is decorating and celebrating in our little
worlds.
Oh, and while you're watching holiday movies this year, keep an eye out for 'The Santa Clause' movies. If you watch closely in the scenes of Santa's workshop, you'll see some familiar dollhouses going by! (Some of us have a theory that those scenes were filmed at the Greenleaf factory but we haven't been able to get a confirmation about that.)
Happy Holidays!

Christmas Mini in Minutes!
By Deb Roberts
We all know how hectic the holiday season can be
and how little time there is for minis. We also know
how much we miss that mini-time we crave. Let's
face it, too much time without minis and we get
cranky. The holidays tend to be stressful and we need
that relaxing time when it's just us and our miniature
creations.

Greenleaf Sing-a-long!
By Deb Roberts
This time of year, the sounds of the holidays are everywhere. In the malls, on the streets, no matter where you go, you hear holiday songs. Every third commercial on tv is for a holiday cd and the radio is playing non stop holiday tunes. But how often do you hear a holiday song for us miniaturists? We’ve come up with some catchy tunes for you to sing this season to express your joy of miniatures during the holidays. Who knows……..maybe they’ll catch on and next year, everyone will be singing joyous songs about minis!

The Critter Corner!
"I see you!"
As Maddie peers into the window of this Pierce, she
seems to be agreeing with her owner Kellee that the
house does need a little work. Now we have to
wonder if Maddie will be participating in the renovation
projects. Is it difficult to wallpaper when you don't
have thumbs?
Thank you Kellee for sharing such a great picture of Maddie with us! Maddie will receive a $25 gift certificate from Petsmart for being the October Critter of the Month. If you'd like to submit your pet's picture for
consideration for the Critter Corner, you can upload
pictures in the "Good Pets
acting bad!" or "Good Pets acting cute!"
galleries at the Greenleaf Forum.
